I live and work in New York State. I am a member of Fishkill Baptist Church. I was a Roman Catholic most of my life. Baptized by immersion in 1999. I have been Born Again in Jesus Christ since 1971.
I am Married to a wonderful women named Cathy. We have four children of our own and one we took in at age 13. All our children are now grown some married, some not yet, one grand-son, one grand daughter.
In 1995 the Lord was telling me to spread His Word on the Internet. I didn't listen. Or I would say "Who me?", "Why me?", "How Lord?". And would just let the feeling pass.
The summer of 1999 I attended my second Promise Keepers Event. (More about Promise Keepers later) On Friday evening a speaker named Edward Lewis Cole spoke on the effect the internet is having on mankind. Billions of dollars were being made selling sin in the way of porn. Even many brothers in Christ have fallen into satins trap. I left the conference with a profound message from God to use the internet to spread His word.

I began searching for material to communicate. I wanted it to be short enough to be read and with a powerful message to carry you the whole day. I use various devotionals.
I started with just a handful of E-mail address and began distribution each evening. In 54 days the distribution grew to 255 and in 265 days distribution was 1300 world wide. Praise God!

Then my E-mail provider, AOL, canceled my account as bulk E-mailing is a violation of the User agreement. At which, I called the main office, and after discussing the content of my message with some very nice people, they decided to grant "Special Permission" to bulk E-mail from my account.
Now we have 2 events that I believe took Divine intervention. 1) The list grew from 10 to 1300 souls in 265 days! and 2) AOL to grant this special permission. Praise God!
How did I get your E-mail address? It came to me. That is the best I could say. If I got your E-mail address in an E-mail I added it to my list. I hope you didn't mind. But I honestly remove any address that requests so immediately.
"Statement of Faith" - I believe Jesus, God's son, died on the cross for my sins. By believing in God and that Jesus died on the Cross for your Sins and Repenting of your sins you become, "Born Again". Becoming a "Christian" is really just that simple. Remember God Loves you no matter what you've done in your past or in your future. And God is always there for you with open arms. I suggest you read, John 3:16 I invite you to have a one on one personal relationship with the man upstairs. Don't let others tell you different, God Loves you just the way you are. Guilt from your past, present or future is not God. God does not make you feel guilty that is the evil one. God is there for you no matter what happens. Remember that. And find yourself a Local Church today and let the Pastor know who you are and that you wish to know Jesus better.
His invitation is clear. We must come to Him. All that remains is a response. In Romans 6:23 we read "...the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." What do we have to do to receive that gift? Take it! Revelation 3:20 states "Behold I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with me. " Jesus stands at the door of your heart and knocks, seeking entrance into our lives. John 1:12 states "For as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become the children of God." If you would like to receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life right now, pray a prayer something like this from the sincerity of your heart...
Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe you died for my sins. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and life. I receive you as my personal Lord and Savior. Thank you for saving me. Amen.
If you just prayed that prayer and really meant it, Jesus Christ has now taken residence in your heart! Not only that, but he has forgiven you of all your sin. The Bible tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9) God also promises, "As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us." (Psalms 103:12)
Your decision to receive Christ also means that you are now going to Heaven one day. That's a lot to be thankful for! You need to take some practical steps to grow strong spiritually: read the Bible, pray, and go to church.
John 21:17 The third time he said to him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep."
